This complete package is the perfect solution to adding a reverse camera to your Caravan, Trailer or Horse Float - to display on our head units.
This package will include the camera, plus all relevant wiring/accessories (see "What's Included?") to install a brand new HD camera. The video feed will supply directly into our head units - for viewing while driving or reversing.
Our Head Units have a secondary camera input - which means you can have a reverse camera on your car, AND a reverse camera on your trailer/van/boat etc.
Depending on how you want it to display; you can either wire it to come up with the push of a physical button/toggle switch on the car - or click an app on the head unit. As long as the camera has power, both options will work fine.
You can also choose to have the camera visible while driving (even when not in reverse) - if you like to keep an eye on things or see what is behind you.
In the kit you will receive 2x quick connect sockets. One attaches to the A Frame on the caravan near the hitch, and the other can attach under your towbar area on the car. These brackets hide nicely out of sight - so when it's time to tow, just connect the two via the included spiral cable and you are good to go. This means it's not permanently wired up, you can just disconnect the tow vehicle from the load, via 1 simple cable.
The wiring in the kit is 4-pin aviation cabling, which is both heavy duty and high quality. You won't have plugs wiggling loose, or coming undone - with the secure aviation connectors.
