Adjust Reverse Camera Brightness and Contrast

This guide is only applicable if you have the reverse camera working, but the image is just grainy or blurry. If you do not have an image yet, please look at the other help guides.

  1. Make sure the camera signal setting for your camera is correct first. For our head unit camera, it should be on AHD 720p 25hz. For a factory fitted camera (if retained) it should be on CVBS-NTSC (go to page 17 on user manual to find where to change this)
  2. Then, when in reverse - click on the screen and release. AN options box will appear with slider buttons to adjust contrast, brightness etc. Have a play with those and see if that helps.
  3. If you are using the camera we supplied, make sure the ground wire is connected to bare metal on the vehicle chassis. Reverse cameras need a really good ground connection.
